We are proud to offer assessments for ADHD, Autism, and other disorders for clients in Ontario aged 16-60 through our affiliation with Dr. Melodie Lemay-Gaulin, a neurodivergent clinical psychologist.

  • A comprehensive psychological assessment is an in-depth exploration of an individual’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. They are conducted through a combination of interviews, standardized measures, and observations. Assessments provide insights into possible diagnoses of ADHD & Autism, as well as other conditions affecting mental and emotional health such as anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders.

Your assessment will involve a pre-assessment interview to gather diagnostic data, followed by a detailed interview with Dr. Melodie. There is no set limit for assessment sessions, and additional sessions may be booked if needed at no added fee.

  • Clinical diagnoses such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provided by a registered clinical psychologist are important and sometimes required for:

    • Accommodations at work or school

    • Prescriptions for some medications, such as stimulants for ADHD

    • Applications for certain federal & provincial tax benefits

  • Besides the potential for providing diagnosis, assessments offer an in-depth analysis of your challenges, needs, and the root causes of distress. This helps to build a more detailed picture of your overall functioning that can be used by you or other professionals in your life to support you. Assessments can also help identify appropriate treatments, and inform the process of psychotherapy.

  • Assessments are priced at a rate $1700 for a full assessment, potential diagnosis, and compact summary report

Or $2350 for a full assessment, potential diagnosis, and comprehensive report.

The assessment process is the same regardless of which option you might choose, and only differ in the length and level of detail in the final report. All assessments include unlimited sessions as needed until the assessment process is completed.

Assessments may be partially or fully covered by some insurance plans; please contact us if you are unsure about coverage.
